...In Which Matt & Kate Bend the Rules

Today started with a trip to Tim Horton's. If you don't know what Tim Horton's is, it's this area's answer to Dunkin' Donuts. People here swear by it's offerings like any New Englander would for DD's. I'm not a coffee drinker but I enjoyed what I had. Kudos, Mr. Horton, to you and your product.
Afterwards we returned to the InstaFriends house and prepared to go out. Kate and Jess' plans were to go out for a pedicure. They ended up going to a couple of country stores and walked along the Erie Canal area of Brockport. Derek and I drove out to Rochester to buy him guitar strings for his newly acquired guitar. The four of us met up at Jimmy Z's for Garbage Plates (see the previous post).
From there we returned home and cleaned up a bit before going out again. This time we headed out to see Lake Ontario, the second smallest Great Lake.
I wanted to put my feet in, but there is a tidal pull on the lake which exposed a 10-yard gap between the beach and water that consisted of this sick smelling sludge. So, forget that. Thanks, Ontario. I'll bet Erie or Mchigan wouldn't pull that.

From there we drove out to a mall in Victor, NY which housed a P. F. Chang's restaurant. We met up with Justin and Lindsay whom are apparently Kate and my New York versions. Great people and great food.

Now wait just a minute. I am well aware that there is are TWO P.F. Chang's in Boston that I could easily go to. But Derek and Jess were paying and Kate and I had never been there before. The opposing team's manager never came out of the dugout to argue, so there really is no issue. We didn't break the rules, but we may have bent them. Oh well.

Tomorrow, we continue westward.
